Ease of use and safety are key elements in the design of injection systems for today’s patients. Pens and auto injectors are used in a vast range of therapeutic areas, and patients who are self-administrating an injectable medicine may not always find it easy to handle the device or to remember to take the medication in a timely manner.
The issues of poor patient adherence are widely discussed, and we are developing our injection systems with the aim to improve patient compliance by offering intelligent solutions that work for the user.
We co-create our products with end users in order to improve safety and ease of use, and we offer a unique, non-medical design avoiding to stigmatise the user. A strong combination of key functionalities incorporated in our injection solutions allows for empowerment of the user.
Two Decades of Expertise
We use our two decades of experience with designing, developing and producing pen systems to create state of the art injection solutions. Our expertise covers conceptualisation, engineering and supply of injection pens, auto injectors, dual-chamber technology, and accessories, where we have developed great insight in pens for the treatment of Diabetes and child friendly injectors e.g. to help with Growth Hormone injections.
We also have experience in the design and development of products used as a means to offset needle-phobia.
Our Intellectual Property in the area of injection solutions include: LEVA®, a disposable auto injector, Dual-Chamber Technology, and C-Cap (Compliance Cap), an innovative injection pen cap designed to protect the needle/medicine and to remind the patient and monitor the patient’s dosage regime.
